オカムラノリコ　Noriko Okamura 

 

東京都在住。
2002年頃から本格的に動物人形の創作を始める。
マーガレテ・シュタイフの考案したテディベアの構造（5ジョイント）を基本に、ファーや布を用い擬人化した不思議な動物が主な作品。
（ブランド名「noriko okamura dolls」）

基礎を磨くため、2015年からテディベアを本格的に作り始めている。
初期の小型シュタイフや蒐集家のピーター・ブルに憧れ、ビンテージベアにも深い関心をもつ。

作品は、ギャラリー、専門店、YouTube、SNS、HPなどで発表している。

2016年10月初めて私家版作品集を作る。現在5冊既刊。

I live in Tokyo.
 I started to create animal dolls in earnest around 2002.
 Based on the teddy bear structure (5 joints) invented by Margarete Steiff, I have been creating anthropomorphic and mysterious animals using fur and cloth. And to polish my foundation, I started making teddy bears in earnest in 2015.
I admire early miniature Steiffs and collector Peter Bull, and have recently developed a deep interest in vintage bears. My work has been shown in galleries, specialty stores, YouTube, social networking sites, and on my website.

I made my first privately published book of work in October 2016. I have already published five books.
